Hand-knotted tassel necklace with natural horn toggle clasp, consisting of: blue chalcedony slice with long golden tassel and natural white howlite beads hand-knotted on gold-colored silk thread; fastens with naturally shed horn toggle clasp with knotted nylon cord over silk for reinforced loop clasp.
Approx. 38” long (end-to-end) with chalcedony slice and tassel hanging 6.75”. White howlite beads measure approx. 10mm. Necklace weighs approx. 140 grams.
Unlike many tassel necklaces, toggle clasp permits necklace to be worn long or doubled for interest at the neckline. Wear all seasons: with tunics and textured sweaters in summer and faux fur capes and throws in fall and winter.
